Mark Hunter seems to be expanding his Cobrasnake empire with opening up his first retail store in Los Angeles. The store will be called the “Pawn Shop” and expect to see some great vintage finds like the ones you see on his website store. The store opens up this month and expect a fun hipster filled fiesta being thrown for the opening store.
“The Cobra Snake is bringing together his extended network of hobos, artists, actresses, designers, photographers, bodybuilders, vintage hounds, comedians, chimpanzees, and models to bring you the most incredible retail experience of the 21st century. A combination retail store-art gallery-secret clubhouse-video game arcade-photography studio-hot spot-recreational facility, The Pawn Shop is a bold new expression of the Cobra Snake lifestyle that is going to change your life forever.
The Pawn Shop draws its inspiration from the diversity and energy of Los Angeles, bringing together the grunge and funk of Hollywood Blvd., the posh appeal of Beverly Hills, the cool easy breezes of the Pacific Ocean and the sizzling heat of an illegal street hot dog.
Cardboard cutouts of 90s celebrities share the space with sunglass-wearing taxidermy animals on loan from the Museum of Natural History, all of them keeping watch over the coolest all-ages never-ending party LA has ever seen.
The Pawn Shop is a fully functional vintage clothing store featuring the hottest pieces from the Cobra Snake’s personal collection, an exclusive selection of new merchandise from the coolest brands on earth , also limited screen prints from Shepard fairey, special awkward family photos display, steve aoki’s personal shoe collection, and the world’s best selection of weird and unique items personally selected by the Cobra Snake for your shopping pleasure. The store will be open for business June 16th.”
