All active NFL players exhaled a sigh of relief when EA chose formerly-retired Brett Favre for their cover, sparing All-Pros from the dreaded Madden Curse. Unfortunately for Favre, dude decided to come out of retirement for one more shot at glory with…the Jets? Brett, what in hell are you thinking…the Jets??? Well, at least when he gets taken out with a career-ending knee injury in Week 3 he will be spared from what would surely be the worst season of his career. But what about the game, you ask? Well, all the standard goodies are still here: online play, full rosters, franchise, the chance to play cheap with the New England Patriots, and your God-given right to talk that smack after bringing the house to take out the Manning brothers.
