Having made a household name for himself with the help of colleague John Digweed, Sasha has soared to the tops of pop charts worldwide, always being on the face of the mainstream, yet always defying it as well.

The first UK artist to hold a US club residency, Sasha, along with Digweed, rocked NYC’s Twilo throughout the ’90s, making them the new underground rave drug. Disc one of this collection hosts “The Remixes,” a group of tracks remixed from the minds of Slam, Audion, Radio Slave and the Field, that have represented select parts from the Em Fire catalog. Each artist offers a dancefloor mix as well as a more obscure left-field mix, bringing diversity to the project. Disc two, however, features three exclusive originals and the highly anticipated 40-minute mixed score to the surf film, New Emissions of Light and Sound. This is undoubtedly a pivotal release for this resurfaced legend.
