This release also coincides with the release of his book and documentary, both of which are entitled House Music…The Real Story—essential fodder for those who wish to go deeper and learn about the roots of the music they love. With songs such as “Feelin Me” and “Luv 2 Luv U (Soul Power Mix)” picking up heavy rotation and spins from jocks around the world, this album is well worth your time. Pushing soulful vibes on cuts such as “Body Music” and “Got Me Runnin’ (Old Skool Mix),” Jesse never loses sight of that old school, classic feel. A great release from a true house music innovator.
