Last night we rounded up our friends and family (Barracuda, Dimmak, The Cobrasnake, Turntable Lab, Han Cholo, Lovemade, Dance Right and dubFrequency) who are currently slinging tunes around la-la land’s hip-kid hangouts, got them to load up their MP3 players with the songs that make the young girls cry, pitted them in a head-to-head style battle against each other and let the drunken delight of the crowd be judge. In the end Dim Mak and Dub Frequency slung the best rhythms. Big thanks to Zune for sponsoring the night and of course all the people that came out and made the night special.
