A few days ago we told you about Upper Playground promoting the upcoming film Righteous Kill. Crowds of folks lined up at the corner of East 6th and Los Angeles in Downtown LA to get a sneak preview of the space they transformed into a Deniro/Pacino tribute and check out next door neighbors The Last Laugh (Estevan Oriol and Mister Cartoon’s storefronts) and Upper Playground goods. There were tasty tacos and hot dogs, big people beverages, and music from DJ Skee. Check out the pix after the jump from photographer DC Chavez.

You can still check out the “Righteous Kill” space (next door to Upper Playground & The Last Laugh, 131 East 6th Street) until September 15, 2008. The hours are noon - 8 pm, Tuesday–Saturday.
