The Swiss have been responsible for numerous textile inventions. Georges Audemars invented rayon. Dr. Jacques Edwin Brandenberger invented cellophane. George de Mestral invented Velcro. Let us also not forget their army pocket knife or delicious hot chocolate and pudding products. The latest, and perhaps greatest, invention from the Land of the Alps is Antipoleez, a lozenge that eliminates tobacco and alcohol breath. I say greatest based on this testimonial on the site: “I had regained a fresh dose of happiness since then and live my life to the fullest.” That’s one hell of an odor-neutralizing candy. If you’re someone who just has to drink on the job and/or drink and drive, this is the best $2.99 you’ll ever spend. The only mistake they’ve made is advertising the product with a voluptuous blonde in a decidedly non-regulation police uniform. If that’s what law enforcement officers in Switzerland look like, people will be booking the next flight to be busted.
