In early March BPM had the opportunity—nay, the obligation—to spend 10 dizzying days in the Old Country. The homeland, as it were…well, at least to all the white boys and girls out there. As the punctual timing gods would have it, there were four events in a little over a week that we had to attend, and they happened to be spread across three countries in Western Europe: Paris Fashion Week, the Geneva Autoshow, a stopover at the Yeah? night at Yellow Submarine in Milan and the Fusion 5 Festival in Cannes. Shotgunned, from city to city, in a brand new Alfa Romeo Brera. To say the least, it was a doozy.
Intersection magazine’s party commemorating eight car covers (each done by a different designer repping a different city) for the Alfa Romeo Brera. This one was for Maison de Margiela. For some reason we’ve decided to import the hipsters, but not the car. What gives, God?
