Last year we showed you the Pacemaker, a portable DJ device the size of a PSP with dual outputs, crossfaders, multi-touch sensitive pads and a 120 GB HD.  This year, Tonium released a lighter 60GB version that includes software and feature upgrades.

The Pacemaker is like having two CDJ’s, DJ mixer, EFX unit and your music collection in the palm of your hand.  It features a beat graph to monitor tempo drift and aid in beat matching.  You can also use auto beat matching for synced transition.  Other features include Time-stretch, pitch change, looping, reverse playback, cue points and EQ’s across tracks, master outputs and the headphone output.

Besides allowing you to play a DJ set from the palm of your hand, Tonium has partnered with Pioneer so that your library, playlists, file tags and crates created on the Tonium are compatible with Pioneer USB enabled mixers and CDJ’s, making the Pacemaker a great way to store, transport and integrate your music into Pioneer, club systems.

Priced at $549, the Tonium is not cheap, but then again, try fitting all that gear in your front pocket!
