I put up a post not too long ago about Banksy’s latest project on the streets of Sutton. The voters of Sutton’s council voted for the piece to be kept but now the “Ikea Punk” piece has been tagged over. Considering Banky is a street artist and his work is considered a form of “graffiti”, his work have benefited the community with tourists coming to see his work which helps the local economy. Dude. It’s graffiti. Ephemeral is the name of the game and it’s nice that someone’s keeping this dude’s ego in check by reminding him that even his pieces are fair game for tagging over.
I personally think it looks better with the CHOKE scrawl all over it, anyways.
It is in-fact graffiti & shit like this happens from time to time even if are famous…
