This three-disc extravaganza from Matt “Radio Slave” Edwards’ label probably won’t surprise many, but that’s usually not the point of a label compilation, is it? Disc one pulls together original releases, disc two drops the remixes and disc three is a mix, courtesy of Spencer Parker. It’s all good, straight ahead fun in the slightly dark and deliberately twisted vein the imprint is known for, and (no surprise here) there are plenty of Radio Slave tracks—four on the first two discs and a whopping seven out of twelve on Parker’s mix. What is surprising is how well familiar tracks like “Bell Clap Dance” hold up alongside exclusives from Toby Tobias and others. Perhaps a bit exhaustive, but fans will find plenty of audio fodder.
