Me and Mariah, go back like babies and PF Flyers. That’s the ol’ dirty bastard line right? Well whatever it is, PF Flyers have been around for a long ass time. They were the shoe my dad was jonesing for as a kid and they’re about to relaunch the Japanese design of the 1940 SportShu limiting production to a thousand pairs (500 in natural and 500 of a black and white version). To celebrate they’re throwing a party at Conveyor at Fred Segal in Santa Monica with drinks and snacks and 25 pairs available before anyone else in North America Can get their hands on them. The party is from 4 to 7 on Saturday, plent of time to get a good buzz coat going before dinner or whatever.
