If you think being a rock star or a guitar hero just isn’t that cool than Scratch might be up your alley. Genius Products along with creative and technical support from legendary DJ Mix Master Mike want to turn you into a superstar hip hop DJ. The game features a turntable style controller and more than 60 original hip-hop and R&B songs from mainstream and underground artists including Kanye West, Tech N9ne, Run DMC, Eric B and Rakim and the rapper from the future Deltron 3030. In Scratch you choose from a bevy of characters with many customizable characteristics and show off your skills in an array of venues, from a garage set up to a mega mansion. Though there is no release date set for scratch the website goes live in two days which will only build hype for one of the year’s most anticipated titles. Check out the Trailer Below

this is awesome – it is going to bring back the technical side of djing! i am gonna keep an eye on this
Eric b and Rakim – sick. MMM is a legend – this game has gotta be solid.

Very cool. Here’s hoping this is the next Guitar Hero.
Am I the only one who thinks this is totally lame? Why play a DJ video game when you can go get some real decks?
