The Coachella of the East is back for another year once again returning to Liberty State Park just over the NY border in Jerz. Taking place July 31st through Augest 2nd this year’s headliners are almost as dated and lame as Coachella’s (Coldplay, The Beastie Boys, and Tool) but if you go to these things for the headliners then you’re doing it wrong. Other acts include My Bloody Valentine, Vampire Weekend, MSTRKRFT, Fleet Foxes, The National, MGMT and The Black Keys but what i’m really salivating over is the pair of reunions by hip groundbreakers Organized Konfusion and The Pharcyde, did they let Fatlip back in?

Like their big western brother Coachella this APW will have a tent for DJ’s and oddly comedians and also like Recessionchella will be incorperating the lay-away plan into their ticket sales.  More info available here.
