K-SALAAM & BEATNICK

Categorized Under: Music, Music Reviews One Comment

Genre: ragga-hop, hip-hop, dancehall.
Sounds like: the reuniting of reggae and hip-hop’s toughest expressionists.
Bottom line: K-Salaam and Beatnick produce the soundtrack to a ghetto revolution by roping in their army of hip-hop soldiers such as Kardinal Offishall, Talib Kweli and Dead Prez. They also recruit Buju Banton, Capelton and Sizzla—taking over the world, one track at a time. (Marlon Regis)
