I’m From Barcelona burst into the musical landscape from Sweden in spring 2007 with their debut Let Me Introduce My Friends (Mute). Touting 29 members and led by Emanuel Lundgren, the band crafted happy indie pop songs about chicken pox, treehouses, wearing glasses, and collecting stamps.

Their upcoming release Who Killed Harry Houdini? is inspired by the escape mastermind of the same name and Emanuel Lundgren’s own experiences a failed amateur magician. The result is a return to form as well as an exploration of new subject matters and musical territory.
