Liberty City, the land to pursue the “American Dream”…by any means necessary. As Nikolai Bellic, you come to town with those dreams of grandeur. Those dreams become delusions when you find out your cousin, Roman, swindled you with lies of his mansions and beautiful ladies. Truth is, he’s just a small-time taxi owner with serious debt and people after him. Oh well, you gotta help out family, even if it calls for “bumping off” a few problems. With the GTA series already heralded for its option-to-roam and interactive elements, GTA IV raises the bar with the RAGE system and letting freestyle have more relevance to the game’s progress rather than the series’ previous objectives of just completing missions. There is also one other notable new feature, multiplayer, so call up the boys through Niko’s cell, cruise through the streets of Liberty City and go claim your spots.
