The Do Lab never ceases to amaze us. If you haven’t had a chance to catch them at Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle or Burning Man we highly recommend checking out what they’re capable of. This year they bring their vision of Valentine’s Day to Los Angeles with the return of the 5th annual art and music festival, Lucent L’Amour 2010. This year’s festival is expanding to include both the indoor and outdoor areas of The Shrine Expo Hall and will feature two stages of live music, DJs, burlesque and vaudeville performances, as well as live art creations and installations.

The Strokes are finally making their return into the spotlight after many years. The New York based indie group have officially announced that they are headlining two festivals this upcoming summer which are UK’s Isle of Wight and RockNess. Of course, when a band comes out of their shell to appear in upcoming festivals, you know there is an new album to come our way as well. According to Pitchfork, The band is working with producer Joe Chiccarelli (White Stripes, Shins, My Morning Jacket) and mixer Gus Oberg. They also promise to post “video vignettes” from the sessions on their website. You know these guys are going to make some sick tracks, and I’m super excited for some new Strokes music.
